01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

On the first floor of Coredo Muromachi Terrace in Nihonbashi, Iinoji serves carefully prepared Japanese food in a calm setting. Inside, you can watch the street scene through the windows. There are counter and table seats, making it a comfortable choice for a meal alone or with a group.

Sukiyaki and hot pots to enjoy at the table

At dinner, hot-pot dishes such as Kuroge wagyu sukiyaki and Kyoto duck suki-shabu stand out. The Kuroge wagyu sukiyaki can be ordered as a single serving. Its ingredients simmer in a rich warishita sauce, ready to be enjoyed piping hot. For a group meal, a set course with starters, tempura and udon to finish is another option; beer and sake from across Japan make an easy pairing for a leisurely meal around the table.

Grilled fish and Tatsuta-fried chicken set meals for lunch

At lunchtime, the set-meal menu includes a daily fish special and Tatsuta-fried Michinoku Seiryu chicken. Rice refills are free with a set meal, served alongside dashi-rich miso soup and a small side dish for a filling lunch. For something lighter, noodle dishes such as sudachi and grated daikon udon are also available.

Seasonal small plates and tempura to enjoy with a drink

Small plates that pair well with a drink include sea bream dressed with salt koji, potato salad with Kitaakari potatoes and salmon roe, and rich yosedofu tofu. Other choices include Koshida Shoten's cultured-dried mackerel and black cod grilled with Saikyo miso, as well as tempura prawns, sillago and maitake mushrooms, which can be ordered in pairs. It is a flexible place to eat between errands around Nihonbashi or after work.
